6.3 Volume
Volume is the amount of 3-dimensional space something takes up. Again, a few formulae you need to learn at the basic level. Harder questions give you multiple shapes or scenarios combined to work the volume in it.
- Volume of sphere: 4/3πr3
- Volume of cube: side3
- Volume of pyramid: 1/3 × base length × base width × height
- Volume of cylinder: πr2h
- Volume generally for any shape: Base area × height
