Variations are endless as complex diagrams can be made in many different ways but if you master the art of breaking down complex diagrams into small parts then this skill remains the same for any kind of question. E.g. 2012Q27d could have also asked you to calculate the angle by giving distance instead of asking you to calculate distance. The art of solving the question does not change.
